Back to School Program

This initiative is designed to reduce the number of out-of-school children by providing financial assistance, school supplies, uniforms, and advocacy support to vulnerable children from low-income families. The program collaborates with parents, schools, and community leaders to ensure sustained school attendance and academic success.

Building and Renovation of Schools

SEYDI invests in improving learning environments by constructing, renovating, and equipping schools in underserved communities. This includes classroom rehabilitation, provision of desks, learning materials, and basic educational infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Campus Jump-Start

This is a mentorship and orientation program for fresh tertiary institution students aimed at preparing them for academic life, career planning, leadership development, and personal responsibility. It includes seminars, career talks, and skills-building workshops.

Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship

This fellowship program identifies, trains, and mentors young social innovators who are passionate about solving community problems through entrepreneurship. Fellows receive training, mentorship, and seed support to implement sustainable social impact projects.

Integrated Youth Economic Empowerment Program

This program provides vocational training, financial literacy education, business development skills, and start-up support to unemployed and underemployed youth. The goal is to create self-reliant young entrepreneurs who contribute to economic growth.

Incubation Program

SEYDI’s incubation hub supports early-stage youth-led businesses and social enterprises by providing mentorship, workspace, business coaching, and networking opportunities. The program bridges the gap between ideas and viable enterprises.

Agricultural Micro-Credit Scheme

This initiative supports small-scale farmers, particularly youth and widows, with micro-loans, training, and agricultural inputs to improve productivity, food security, and income generation.

Water, Health, and Environmental Sanitation (WASH)

SEYDI implements community-based water and sanitation projects, including borehole construction, hygiene education, waste management advocacy, and environmental sustainability programs to promote healthier communities.

Drug Abuse Awareness Campus Tour

This is a campus-based advocacy and sensitization program aimed at educating students about the dangers of drug abuse, addiction prevention, mental health awareness, and responsible decision-making. It includes workshops, peer education, and engagement with student leaders.

SEYDI Annual Award for Social Change

The SEYDI Annual Award serves as a strategic tool for recognizing excellence in education, community service, and development work. It honors:
– Best performing students in partner schools
 – Outstanding NGOs contributing to community development
 – Development partners supporting youth and education initiatives
